We are celebrating our 25 years by bringing you the story of Contact and the people who have made it happen, and our archive is still there for you to access at any time, and below you can read the story of Contact, how it came into being and the wonderful reflections of the people who have made it happen over the years.

When and how Contact will re-emerge and evolve will be determined by those who become involved.

Task Force

May 2, 2018;

The Tibetan exile government’s Task Force on Sino-Tibetan Dialogue began its latest session in Dharamshala. The three-day meeting will review prospects for dialogue between envoys of HH the Dalai Lama and Chinese representatives. The Task Force expressed hope that the current political climate, with the recent meeting between the South and North Korean leaders, could bode well for Tibet. The last dialogue with China took place in 2010.
