When and how Contact will re-emerge and evolve will be determined by those who become involved.
During the ongoing 38th Human Rights Council session in Geneva, the European Union and Germany raised the issue of the human rights situation in Tibet, reiterating their call for the immediate release of Tashi Wangchuk, a Tibetan language rights advocate who was wrongfully sentenced to five years in prison in June by the Chinese government. The UN Human Rights Council session is scheduled to finish on July 6.
