Hello, my name is Lobzang Chosdon. I am from Ladakh. I was born in Zanskar in Ladakh. My place name is Padum, Zanskar. I have six family members. I have two brothers and three sisters.
I was studying in Jammu, I stayed six years in Jammu. I studied for a BA Part 1. I want to be in the International Army Service (IAS), that’s why I study very hard, but my English is weak. I always try to speak English with my friend. I hope I will get into the IAS because this is my father’s dream. I follow what my father says because I love my parents. Yes I know I am doing very hard work and have had many problems but I never left my aim. I don’t know if I will have success or not but I will try again and again.
When I was studying in Jammu I was with my best friend as well as my sister. She is very precious to me. She always helps me. When I have problems she helps me. I never ever forget her. She stays in my heart. Unfortunately we have not stayed together for some years. After two months I came to Dharamshala. Dharamshala is a very nice place, everything is very beautiful. Dharamshala has many tourists and many Indian people come and there are many opportunities to speak English and many languages. I came here because I want to improve my English and there are many languages spoken here, and most important to see is the Dalai Lama’s Temple. Here in the evening I always go to the temple and I am very happy here. I hope everyone has a happy life.
