25 Tibetan students have been arrested in the lead up to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Modi’s summit in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, on Friday. Police stormed their rooms in Chennai and took them to the police station to sign promissory letters committing them to refrain from engaging in activities that breach public peace. Currently they are being held in Puzhal Central Prison in Chennai.
