When and how Contact will re-emerge and evolve will be determined by those who become involved.
Kalon Ngodup Tsering, the Education Minister at the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), has been appointed the new Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to North America. Kalon Ngodup Tsering has served in the CTA since 1983 and from 2001-2008, he was President and then Director of various Tibetan associations in the United States. He will take up his post from December 1.
