When and how Contact will re-emerge and evolve will be determined by those who become involved.
Tibetan activists succeeded in blocking the pathway outside the New York Chinese Consulate and forcing its shutdown. They were protesting about the death in custody in China of Tenzin Delek Rinpoche and demanding that his body be released to his family. The protest was organised by the Tibetan National Congress and Students for a Free Tibet and is one of a series of protests worldwide.
